Griquas turn on the pressure

Griquas tightened the screws on Namibia on the second day of their SAA Challenge match at Windhoekâ??s Wanderers field on Friday, November 9.

After lunch on the second day, Griquas had reached 203/5 for an overall lead of 282 runs. With Adrian McLaren in full flight on 98 not out and five second innings wickets remaining, they were in a strong position to win the match.

MTC hand over sponsorship to Namibia Cricket Board

MTC Namibia today renewed its three-year sponsorship to the Namibia Cricket Board (NCB) for the 2007/08 cricket season at the United Cricket Grounds with a N$ 2 million donation. The sponsorship forms part of the N$ 6 million that MTC committed to cricket three years ago.
