Reho Falcons have moved to the top of the MTC Rugby Premier League after thrashing Jaguars 62-8 on Saturday.
Reho Falcon ran in nine tries to collect a bonus point and now top the log with 51 points from 12 matches.

Reho Falcons replaced Wanderers at the top of the log after Wanderers refused to play Western Suburbs at Suburbs Park last Saturday. Wanderers’ chairman Pieter Fick said that an incident between Wanderers’ captain JM Meyer and Suburbs’ former coach Johan Diergaardt still rankled and that their players feared for their safety at Suburbs Park.

Western Suburbs gained revenge by beating Reho Falcon in a rugby Premier League match in Rehoboth on Saturday.

Falcon had beaten Suburbs 19-18 after a late controversial try in their first round match at Suburbs Park on July 12, but this time around Suburbs prevailed 22-21 in another close encounter.

Suburbs were however full value for their win as they had the edge amongst the forwards where national lock Wacca Kazombiaze in particular, had a storming game. He had a great all round match, dominating the lineouts and excelling in the loose, while he was also full value on defence.
