Ramblers men?s Premier League team completed its indoor hockey campaign with an emphatic 6-3 victory against Wanderers on April 11.
Wanderers started on the attack and opened the scoring in the fifth minute when Francois Fuscher scored from a short corner.

In a fast-paced match Unam held a slender 4-3 lead at halftime, but sealed the match after the break when they raced into a 9-4 lead. Ramblers came back with two late goals but it was too late.
Ramblers snatch the initiative

Before the match, DTS were well positioned at the top of the log, but an emphatic display by Ramblers dramatically changed the scenario and gave the Pioniers Park-based club an easy run to the title.
DTS close in on title

The match had barely begun before DTS striker Anri van den Berg intercepted the ball on the halfway line and raced through to score the opening goal. Maike Prickett soon equalised for WOB, but Van den Berg restored DTS? lead with a well-struck shot from an acute angle.
Bartlett scores six goals
Submitted by editor on Tue, 04/05/2005 - 20:40.Bucko Bartlett was the star of the show as Windhoek Old Boys Social Club (WOB) convincingly beat Ramblers 7-3 in a Tafel Lager Indoor Hockey Men?s Premier League match on April 4.
Bartlett gave a brilliant all-round performance by scoring six of his side?s goals. Three came from short corners, one was a penalty flick and two came from open play. His final goal was a great individual effort as he rounded Reagan Graig to score high into the net.
Old Boys shock Unam

The youthful WOB side put in their best performance of the season with a fine team effort, but the opposite was true for Unam who couldn?t combine well as a team, while spirited defence by WOB in the second half kept them out.
DTS increase their lead

Anri van den Berg put DTS in the lead in the 7th minute when she fired home a cross by Andrea Beiter, and a minute later Birgitte Augustyn made it 2-0 after a fine run.

Ramblers took a 3rd minute lead when Christa Kayser scored from a quick counter-attack and 4 minutes later Silke Pennefather made it 2-0 after a good solo run by Tanya Frankle.

Ramblers were still in with a chance after trailing 2-1 at halftime, but WOB turned on the pressure after the break with some brilliant performances. Archie Botha, with five goals, and Trevor Cormack and Bucko Bartlett, with two each, all combined brilliantly as WOB ran riot.
