Mutorwa thanks Youth Games sponsors

Namibiaâ??s Minister of Sport John Mutorwa publicly thanked the sponsors of the SADC Zone 6 Youth Games at a press conference at Windhoekâ??s Safari Hotel on June 20.
â??We have many people who genuinely care for the present and future of our youth in Namibia as well as the whole SADC region. I would like to most sincerely thank you, our valued sponsors for your tremendous support. Remember that education is about preparing, refining and moulding the total human being, physically, mentally and spiritually, and in that dynamic process of educating, sport plays a fundamental role,â? he said.

MTC sponsors volunteers for SADC Zone 6 Youth Games

Namibiaâ??s sole cellular provider, MTC on June 21 announced a sponsorship of more than N$260 000 for the volunteers who will be involved in the SADC Zone 6 Youth Games which start in Windhoek on June 26.

Namibia ready to host SADC Games

Namibia declared itself ready and raring to go to host the second SADC Zone Six Youth Games, which takes place in Windhoek from June 25 to July 5.
At a press conference in Windhoek on June 7, spokespersons for Namibiaâ??s six participating sporting codes said their preparation was well on track and that they were confident of doing well at the Youth Games.
