St Josephs High School beat Jan Mohr on a penalty shootout to win the Khomas Region final of the Coca Cola Football Stars tournament in Windhoek on June 9.
Jan Mohr took the lead early in the second half when Markus Haoseb headed in from a corner. They seemed to be heading for victory when St Josephs scored a dramatic equalizer. They received a freekick in injury time and Sylvester Aribeb blasted the shot into the net to force a penalty shootout.

What a Tournament it was. A total of 152 teams entered the worldâ??s biggest Old Boys Tournament which was played in the Vogtland (Germany). The different categories were over 35 and over 50 years of age.

Wilko Risser, the brother of Brave Warriors midfielder Oliver Risser scored both goals â?? one in each half â?? while Milanzi scored for Primero late in the second half.
Jacobs, Tjikuzu not in squad for DRC match

Brave Warriors to play Primero de Agosto

At a press conference at Soccer House on June 6, the NFAâ??s spokesman Beau Kauta said the match would start at 19h00, while the entrance fee would be N$10 for adults and N$5 for children. He added that this would be the first of four friendly matches that Primero will play in Namibia over the next week.
Tough battle in Northern Stream First Division
Submitted by editor on Wed, 06/06/2007 - 08:53.Chief Santos from Tsumeb and Mighty Gunners from Otjiwarongo are fighting it out to finish top of the Northern Stream First Division League log and gain promotion to the Namibia Premier league.
Chief Santos currently lead the log with 49 points from 22 matches, but Mighty Gunners are just three points behind with two matches in hand.

Collin Benjamin scored the only goal of the match in the fourth minute to give Namibia a crucial 1-0 victory and strengthen their chances of qualifying for next yearâ??s AFCON finals in Ghana.

Namibia went ahead through an early goal but as the game progressed had to defend more and more. But the defence was outstanding and managed to keep Libya at bay, although they also had a bit of luck on their side, with Libya hitting the woodwork three times.
