Saudi Arabia beat Namibia 1-0 in a friendly soccer match in Riyadh on Friday evening.
The winning goal came in the 15th minute of the first half after a loss of concentration and a defensive mix-up by Namibia.

African Stars scored a well-deserved 1-0 victory against Orlando Pirates at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on Friday evening in front of an appreciative crowd of about 3 000 fans.

Brouwers Litombo scored the winning goal at the start of the second half when he latched on to a loose ball in Piratesâ?? box and struck it high into the net.

Black Africa jumped to the top of the log after beating defending champions Civics 1-0 at Windhoekâ??s Independence Stadium on Wednesday, October 31.
Jerome Louis scored the winning goal midway through the second half after receiving a fine defence splitting pass from Tjono Jagger to coolly slot the ball past Civicsâ?? keeper Esau Tjiouro.

All set for FNB Cup semifinals

THE draw for the FNB Cup semi-finals was made in Windhoek on Tuesday, October 30, pitting Black Africa against Eleven Arrows and Ramblers against Cymot SKW.

The semi-finals are scheduled to take place at Windhoek's Independence Stadium on November 17, with Black Africa taking on Arrows at 16h00, while Ramblers will take on Cymot SKW at 18h00.

Ramblers hold out

Ramblers beat Orlando Pirates on penalties in their FNB Cup quarterfinal match at Windhoekâ??s Independence Stadium on October 28, after a goalless 90 minutes.

Pirates had only themselves to blame for their defeat to Ramblers. Ramblers defender Dylan Mieze was sent off for swearing in the 35th minute, but despite enjoying a surfeit of possession, Pirates couldnâ??t make their numerical advantage count.

SKW beat Stars on penalties

Cymot SKW beat African Stars 4-3 on penalties at Windhoekâ??s Independence Stadium on October 28 to go through to the FNB Cup semifinals.

SKW had their keeper Heribert Kapeng to thank as he brought off two fine saves in the shootout to see them through 4-3 on penalties.

Pirates 4 Fedics 1

Orlando Pirates outplayed a game Fedics to comfortably win their first round FNB Cup match 4-1 on October 27.

Pirates went on the attack from the start and immediately put Fedicsâ?? defence under pressure. With a star-studded attack of Riaan Cloete, Rudi Louw, Patrick Jagger and Klaas Blom combining well, they had Fedicsâ?? defence stretched to the limit.

Stars beat Blue Waters

African Stars were too strong for Blue Waters, winning their first leg FNB Cup match 4-1 on October 27.

Stars got off to the perfect start when Brouwers Litombo broke free and beat Blue Waters keeper Melvin Bruwer to stab a high ball into the net in the 2nd minute.
