Namibian school boy Wilro Dippenaar created history on Saturday when he won the 43rd Total Tara Rally in Windhoek with his navigator Mornay du Toit. At 18-years of age he is the youngest winner in the history of Namibia’s premier international rally, while he is also the first schoolboy to win the rally.

It was a great achievement by the Windhoek Afrikaanse Privaat Skool scholar, who also followed in the footsteps of his father Dippies Dippenaar, who won the rally in 1984 and 1985.
