Namibian junior triathlete Abraham Louw excelled to win the Under 15 Male category at the African Triathlon Championships which recently took place in Mauritius.
Louw dominated his race from the start to run out a comfortable winner. He completed the 400m swim, 10km cycle and 2,5km run in a total time of 34 minutes 14 seconds, finishing more than two minutes ahead of the second triathlete.

Michael Diekmann was runner up in this category while Kalle Haenisch and Jento Eloff finished third and fourth respectively.
Wolfaardt wins Mariental triathlon
Submitted by editor on Wed, 11/15/2006 - 10:58.Erhard Wolfaardt of South Africa beat a strong international field to win the FNB Mariental African Cup triathlon in Mariental on November 11.
The triathlon formed part of the African Triathlon Series, and as such, carried ITU ranking points for the competitors. This ensured that some of the top triathletes from Spain, the United States, Great Britain and Austria entered the race to try and pick up extra ranking points.
Kohne, Jagau win in Mariental

Kohne and Jagau received N$500 each, while they also won the overall senior men and womenâ??s categories of the Namibian Duathlon Series with their respective victories.
Moller comes third at SA Ironman

More than 1 400 of the worldâ??s top triathletes participated in the grueling event, which took place in heavy rain and wind and rough waters and consisted of an 3,8km swim, a 180km cycle and a 42km run.
Murphy wins National Triathlon Championships

Running in the veteranâ??s category the 44-year-old Murphy completed the 1,3km swim, 40km cycle and 10km run in a time of 2:03:51.
Moller wins Ultra Triathlon

Moller covered the gruelling event, which consisted of a 1,9km swim, a 90km cycle and a 21km run in a total time of four hours 29 minutes and one second.

Moller led the championships, which consisted of a 1 500m swim, 40km cycle and 10km run, from start to finish to win in a time of 2:15:39. Another female triathlete, Zoe Mitchell came second overall in 2:21:21, while the first male Andrew Rowles came third overall in 2:24:49.
