IAAF threatens to suspend Namibia
Submitted by editor on Wed, 11/22/2006 - 15:37.The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) has threatened to suspend Namibia from international competition because of perceived government interference in the running of Athletics Namibia (AN).
Namibia are third in SAA Cup

tournament after beating Gauteng by four wickets on November 19.
Namibia have13 points from four matches, the same as Northerns but the latter are in second place because of a superior run rate.
Namibia name Cosafa Under/20 team
Submitted by editor on Wed, 11/22/2006 - 11:48.The Namibia Football Association (NFA) have named a 20-member team to take part in the Under-20 Cosafa tournament in South Africa next month.
The players are expected to assemble on 22 November.
Twelve of the players have been drawn from the Premier League with the rest coming from the lower division.
Zwirner wins Under-12 boys triathlon

Michael Diekmann was runner up in this category while Kalle Haenisch and Jento Eloff finished third and fourth respectively.
Black Africa and African Stars through

Black Africa beat newly promoted Golden Bees 1-0 on Sunday at Mariental Sports Stadium to seal their semifinal place. Midfielder Berres Rooi struck the only goal of the match.
