Three new players called up
Submitted by editor on Wed, 01/24/2007 - 10:18.Three new faces and four South African-based players have been included in the Brave Warriors squad to play Botswana in an international friendly in Gaborone on February 7.
Coach Ben Bamfuchile has called up Ramblers winger Bradley Wermann, Civics striker Floris Diergaardt and Levy Swartbooi of Primero Agosto in a 26-man squad.
Cloete joins Ramblers
Submitted by editor on Wed, 01/24/2007 - 09:57.In a shock move, Orlando Piratesâ?? captain Riaan Cloete has resigned and joined Namibia Premier League log leaders Ramblers.
Ramblersâ?? spokesman Harald Hecht told Namibia Sport that Cloete had approached Ramblers on Sunday and handed in his resignation to Pirates the next day.
Starke buoyant ahead of Friends match
Submitted by editor on Tue, 01/23/2007 - 13:46.SKW coach Richard Starke was upbeat about his teamâ??s chances when they engage Friends in a basement battle in an MTC Namibia Premier League (NPL) match at the SKW fields tomorrow night.
Starke also revealed his team was unaffected by their pending case in which they had six points deducted for using an unregistered player, Arend Von Stryk, in their opening matches of the season.

Brave Warriors clash with Botswana

February 7.
Barry Rukoro, the acting secretary of the Namibia Football Association (NFA), said Botswana had replaced Algeria as the Brave Warriors opponents in the international friendly.
