Pirates had only won one of their previous ten matches â?? a sequence which saw them going to the bottom of the log, and their diehard fans were desperate for a win.
Black Africa beat Blue Waters 3-2

It was BAâ??s second victory against Blue Waters, following their 5-3 win in the first round of the MTC NFA Cup, while their first league encounter ended in a 0-0 draw.

Although members of Ramblers and the international soft drinks mix company, Kingsley, did not want to divulge how much the sponsorship would amount to, the chairman of Ramblers, Harald Hecht said it was probably the biggest sponsorship yet in Namibian football.
Blue Waters face tough test

Blue Waters are currently fourth from bottom on the log and their chances of winning away from home seem to be remote.
Namibia down on FIFA World Rankings

Namibia are now ranked 123rd in the world, one down from 122nd position they held last month.
During this time, Namibia just played one friendly match, losing 1-0 away to Botswana on February 7, 2007.
