Craven comes 8th in Switzerland

Craven submitted the following report about the race on his website, dancraven@co.za
During the week I could feel that my form had really picked up and was looking forward to the race. An upset stomach put a bit of a dampener on things but I was able to work through it and live to tell the tale, even though I ate less than half of what I usually would have in a 180km race.

Ramblers and DTS played to a 3-all draw in an Indoor Hockey menâ??s Premier League match on Monday night.
In a match of few highlights, Ramblers took a 3-0 lead, only to see DTS stage a strong comeback to grab a draw.
Johannes ready to defend her title

Last year Johannes took the Cape by storm when she won the womenâ??s 21km race in a new record time of 73 minutes and 35 seconds. It heralded in a great year, during which she won numerous events in South Africa, including the South African 10km and 20km Championships.
Bamfuchile announces strong squad
Submitted by editor on Mon, 04/02/2007 - 15:12.National coach Ben Bamfuchile has announced a strong squad to take on a Shadow Team at the annual Namibia Newspaper Cup competition in Keetmanshoop on Sunday, April 8.
All of Namibiaâ??s local-based national players are in the squad as well as some new players who have performed well in the Namibia Premier League.
Wanderers thrash Oshakati

It was the second year in succession that the two teams met in the final, and once again Wanderers ended up on the winning side.
