Kangueehi sent ultimatum by NSC

The Namibia Sport Commission has warned Athletics Namibia president Alpha Kangueehi that it will deregister Athletics Namibia as a member of the NSC if it does not rectify the shortcomings that have dogged the beleaguered body for the past few years.

Namibia down on FIFA World Rankings

Namibia moved a further five places down on the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings according to the latest release.

Big Five Motocross Cup in Gobabis

The MX-bikes were barely rid of the aggressive salty sand from the coast, when they were already moved in an easterly direction: to Gobabis. Messrs Big-5, headed by Wikus Engelbrecht, acts as the main sponsor. Wikus is also the driving force behind the Gobabis Moto Cross Club. According to received information the track was broadened and a 30m jump was built in front of the spectators terrace. The riders enjoy riding in Gobabis, because the consistency of the soil is absolutely unique in Namibia.
