Unam have regained the lead on the Field Hockey men’s Premier League log after their 4-1 victory over Wanderers on Saturday. It was Unam’s fourth successive victory while Wanderers suffered their first defeat of the season. Unam now lead the Men’s Premier League with 13 points, followed by Wanderers on 11 and DTS on eight points.
Windhoek Old Boys, who have three points and Polytechnic who must still open their account prop up the bottom of the log.

Wanderers’ shock 1-0 defeat to Unam on Saturday dented their title aspirations and they are currently four points off the pace, having played one match more than WOB.

Despite Wanderers men’s defeat on Saturday, their midfielder Riaan Kruger is still way out in front on the goalscoring chart, having scored 13 goals in four matches. He is followed by teammate Freddie Hanekom and Siabonga Martins of Unam who have both scored six goals.
Didi Foerster of WOB is currently the top goalscorer in the Women’s Premier League with four goals from three matches, followed by teammate Marcia Venter and Juanne Louw who have both scored three goals.
