JR Franks of Excelsior Gymnastic Club was the best gymnast at the Telecom National Gymnastics Championships in Windhoek on November 5.
Franks, who is still only 10 years old, received a trophy and prize money for being the best Level 5 ? 8 gymnast with an average score of 8,13.
Riz Zimmerman of Excelsior and Morihei Anderson of Walvis Bay shared the trophy and prize money for the best Level 3-4 gymnast with an average score of 8,84.
Hanno Strydom of Excelsior received a trophy for the best level 1-2 gymnast with an average score of 9-13, while Bjorn Novak of Crete Gymnastic Club received a trophy and prize money for the best Entry Level gymnast with an average score of 8,93.
Namibia Gymnastic Federation trophies were also awarded to the following gymnasts:

The following gymnasts will represent Namibia at the Zone Six Gymnastic Championships in Walvis Bay in December:
Juniors: Morihei Anderson (Walvis Bay), Robert Erasmus (Tsumeb), Christopher Rix, Muller van As, Alexander Mudge, Cody la Cock, JR Franks (all Excelsior) and Martin van der Merwe (Tsumeb).
Seniors: Robert Honiball and Ulrich Schoeman (Excelsior).
