Egypt beat Namibia 3-0

Egypt beat Namibia 3-0 in their friendly soccer match at Aswan on Saturday evening.

Namibia did well to hold Egypt to a 0-0 draw at halftime, but the Egyptians finished the match stronger to score three unanswered goals in the second half.

According to Namibiaâ??s assistant coach Ronnie Kanalelo, Egyptâ??s first goal came five minutes after the break when a striker was given too much space and broke through Namibiaâ??s defence to score from close range.
The second goal came in the 76th minute through a fine long range shot from outside the box, while the third goal came in the 89th minute when a cross into the box was headed into the net.

Kanalelo said that Namibia had a few chances in the first half but were outplayed in the second half.
Namibiaâ??s best chance came when Rudolph Bester broke through the Egyptian defence, but Egyptâ??s goalie brought off a fine save to block Besterâ??s close range shot.
