Weekend Sport Preview

Namibia Premier League

The Namibia Premier League continues with several matches throughout the country.
On Friday night, Orlando Pirates take on Cymot SKW at the SKW field in Windhoek.
SKW are fourth on the log on 10 points while Pirates are sixth on 8. SKW should start as favourites on their home pitch, but Pirates definitely have the potential to cause an upset, despite their ongoing problems off the field. In their last match Lemmy Narib stood in as caretaker coach and it is still not sure whether Shepherd Murape will be back on the bench this weekend.
Murape earlier told Namibia Sport he was finished with Pirates and had been approached by South African PSL team Platinum Stars.
Friday's Namibian meanwhile reported that Civics' assistant coach Woody Jacobs woud stand in as Pirates' coach tonight, while Dutch coach Jan Brouwers who formerly coached Angolan champions Petro de Atletico, would soon take over as head coach of Orlando Pirates.

On Saturday, African Stars take on Civics at 16h00 at the Ramblers field in a match that could go either way.
In Walvis Bay Eleven Arrows take on Oshakati City, starting at 18h00 on Saturday, while Fedics host Black Africa at 17h00 in Keetmanshoop.
