Namibia beat Denmark by 103 runs

Namibia beat Denmark by 103 runs to finish in seventh position at the ICC Trophy cricket competition in Ireland on July 11.
Namibia won the toss and batted first, scoring 230/9 off their 50 overs.
JB Burger got Namibia off to a brisk start, scoring 27 off 32 balls, while fellow opener Danie Keulder scored 28.
Sarel Burger continued the run chase with a fine 40 off 70 balls, while Louis Burger added 28 off 27 balls.
Gerrie Snyman was out for 12 and Deon Kotze for 15, while Morne Karg added 36 off 42 balls and Riaan Walters was not out on 23 off 25 balls.
Kola Burger went for a duck and Bjorn Kotze for 3, while Ian van Zyl was not out on 5, as Namibia reached 230/9 off their 50 overs.
Denmark?s openers Singh (34) and Klokker (19) scored 49 runs for the first wicket, but when Klokker departed, their run chase effectively ended as wickets continued to fall regularly.
Sarel Burger removed both openers, and with Kola Burger, Louis Burger and Deon Kotze all getting amongst the wickets, Denmark was soon in trouble at 7/89.
There was a brief revival as Denmark?s tailenders Hansen and Kopperholdt added 30 for the final wicket, but it was never enough as the whole team was dismissed for 127 runs.
Sarel Burger was Namibia?s best bowler, taking 5/23 off 10 overs, while Kola Burger took 1/21, Louis Burger 1/24 and Deon Kotze 2/20.
Meanwhile, Holland claimed the final qualifying spot to the 2007 World Cup after beating the United Arab Emirates by 145 runs in the fifth-place play-off on July 11.
The top two teams in Group A ? Ireland and Bermuda ? and the top two teams in Group B ? Scotland and Canada ? qualified automatically for the World Cup. Ironically, Namibia beat both Ireland and Bermuda in warm-up matches before the start of the ICC Trophy competition.
