With the 2011/2012 done and dusted, the Namibia Football Association will be hosting the Northern Stream First Division play-offs at Tsumeb this weekend to determine who joins Namibia’s second tier football league for next season.
The matches will be played at the Oscar Norich Stadium and will see eight teams in action for only two qualifying spots.
Young Tops will represent Ohangwena region, King Fischer will represent Caprivi and Omusati will have Epupa Stars in the mix.
Kunene region will be represented by their second division winners, Sport Klub Outjo, while Bingo will have the Kavango hopes on their shoulders and Oshana region will root for Young Chiefs.
African Lions won the Otjozondjupa Second Division and take their place at the playoffs while the host region, Oshikoto will have Benfica to carry their hopes.
The matches will start on Saturday, 23 July at 08h00 as Young Tops face Sporting Club Outjo (Group A) and two hours later African Lions entertain Bingo (Group B).
