Enduro Series goes to Aranos

Enduro racing

The fourth round of the Bank Windhoek Namibian National Series will take place in Aranos on Saturday, 9 June 2012.

The Aranos event is to be held in and around the Aranos area covering ground on several farms on the outskirts of the town.

The Aranos Endurance Club in partnership with the Namibian Enduro Club has put in a great amount of effort to ensure that this event will again be a huge success and that there will be plenty of action for the riders and the spectators.

Saturday morning will see the traditional parade lap through the town with all the riders stopping at the local branch of Bank Windhoek to show their appreciation for the support and to promote the sport.

With eleven classes set to run during this event, including a business relay class, entries look set to again show the growth of the sport. The business relay class is open to both quadbikes and motorbikes with two riders teaming up to complete the course and each rider must complete a lap.

With the National Championships having reached the half way stage, things are heating up in all the classes with the leaders trying to keep up the pace and the rest of the pack chasing hard to make up the points.

The Aranos event has become an annual event on the racing calendar and the riders will be looking forward to this event. The great terrain and varied obstacles, including the now legendary fence ramps, will again ensure a great day’s enjoyment for the riders, family and the community of Aranos.
