Civics’ youthful defender Peter Steven is our FNB Player of the Month after receiving the most votes from our panel of judges.
It was a close contest with Steven just pipping Mighty Gunners winger David Anton to the prize. Steven received four votes, with Anton receiving three and Black Africa winger Eslin Kamuhanga two votes.
Steven was very happy to hear that he had won, saying he never expected it.
“I feel very honoured to win this prize and I want to thank everyone who voted for me. I must say, I never expected to win it but it shows that my hard work is paying off,” he said.
