With the top three teams in the Namibia Rugby Premier league losing over the weekend, the log positions underwent a bit of a change.

Rehoboth, who were previously fourth, have now gone to the top of the log on 16 points after their narrow 26-25 victory against United on Saturday.

After Rehoboth streaked into a 23-6 lead at halftime, they withstood a late onslaught by United to win by a single point and claim four points for their victory.

The former leaders United picked up two bonus points, for scoring four tries and losing by less than seven points, and are now second on the log with 15 points.

Wanderers, who suffered a shock 22-19 defeat at home to Mariental, move down to third position on the log on 14 points and are followed by the defending champions Reho Falcon on 13 points. Falcons also suffered a shock home defeat, going down 35-34 to Unam.

It was Unam’s second win in a row and they now move up to fifth position on 12 points.

Western Suburbs, who beat Kudus 29-3 at home are sixth on 11 points, while the early season log leaders Kudus have dropped down to seventh on 10 points.

Mariental are eighth on nine points and Dolphins are last on two points.

The next round of Premier League matches will take place on June 16.
