Log leaders JS Academy will face Challengers on Sunday while second placed Okahandja Beauties and Poly Babes clash on Saturday as the NFA Women’s Super League continues this weekend.
JS Academy who lead the league on 28 points from 11 matches should be far too strong for bottom of the log Challengers, who have been completely outclassed in the league so far.
They have not collected a single point, while they have only scored 5 goals and conceded a massive 145 goals in their 11 matches to date. The match is scheduled to start at the NFA Technical Centre at 10h00 on Sunday.
Okahandja Beauties, who are just one point behind JS Academy on the log, face a tougher proposition when they take on Poly Babes at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on Saturday, starting at 12h00.
Beauties were in great form last Saturday when they routed BD 21 United 13-1, but Poly Babes will be no push overs as they demonstrated by beating Challengers 7-0. Poly Babes are also just three points behind Beauties in third place on the log and are still in the title chase.
In the first match on Saturday, BD 21 United take on Unam Bokkies at 10h30 at the Sam Nujoma Stadium.
Both teams are struggling with BD 21 United fourth on the log on 10 points and Unam Bokkies fifth on 9 points.
Meanwhile, Okahandja Beauties striker Juliana Skrywer leads the top goal scorers chart with 28 goals, followed by teammate Kleintjie Fredericks on 24 goals.
Zenatha Coleman of JS Academy is third with 19 goals, followed by Shirley Cloete of Beauties with 13 goals and Salome Iyambo also of Beauties with 12 goals.
