Moses van der Byl and the Pumpkins U15 team are leading the Windhoek NFA Galz and Goals U13 and U15 leagues after two weeks of matches.
Moses van der Byl has a total of 13 points after winning four matches and drawing one since the start of the new season. Pumpkins U15 are leading the U15 league after having won three out of three matches and have nine points.
In the first week of competition, Moses van der Byl beat Pumpkins A 7-0 and then went on to draw 1-1 against Eros. In their last match they beat Pumkins B 3-0.
In last weekend’s action they won 4-0 against Pumpkins C and 3-0 against Emma Hoogenhout.
In the U15 league, Pumpkins in the first weekend of matches beat Hage Geingob 1-0 and St Barnabus 4-1.
On Friday, they beat Mandume 5-0 in their only match of the day.
Eros are second on the U13 log after they won two and drew two of their matches and have eight points. Kayec are third with six points after they recorded two wins.
In the U15 league, Hage Geingob are second with two points which they got from the two draws they recorded against Pumpkins (1-1) and Eros (2-2). Eros are third after they drew their only match.
In other matches played on Friday, U13 league newcomers Kayec beat Pumpkins A 2-0 and Mandume Primary School 1-0. Pumpkins B lost 3-0 to Emma Hoogenhout while Mandume and drew 0-0 with Eros.
