Unam end season in style
Submitted by editor on Tue, 04/28/2009 - 11:14.Unam completed their Telecom Indoor Hockey Men’s Premier League campaign in emphatic style by beating the X Team from Walvis Bay 8-2 on Saturday. Unam had already won the league title for a record ninth year in a row the previous weekend, but signed off in style with a great performance to underline their dominance of club hockey in Namibia.
Playing their traditional fast-paced game, Unam went on the attack from the start, but the X Team’s defence managed to hold out in the opening stages, until Siabonga Martins found the net from a short corner.
