Four Namibian records were established at the Namibian Amateur Swimming Union (NASU) Short Course Gala 2 that was held at the Dolphins swimming pool in Windhoek over the weekend.

Despite the bitterly cold weather, a total of 85 swimmers from Dolphins Swimming Club, Namib Swimming Academy and Swakopmund Swimming Club, competed in 21 events over the two days.

Oranjemund swimmers did not participate in the Gala but will host their own meet later this month.

On the whole, the gala was perceived to be a very successful one.
