Civics, Tigers in entertaining draw
Submitted by editor on Fri, 04/13/2012 - 21:42.Civics and Tigers played to a goalless draw at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on Friday night. Despite there being no goals, there was plenty of action, with especially Tigers missing some great goal scoring chances.
Tigers striker Benson Shilongo headed wide from a corner early on, while Civics captain Heini Isaacks forced a fine save by Fox Nambundunga at the other end.
Tigers had numerous chances in the first half but could not get past Civics keeper Esau Tjiouro who gave an inspired performance.
Black Africa aim for title
Submitted by editor on Fri, 04/13/2012 - 14:38.A packed house can be expected at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on Saturday afternoon when Black Africa take on traditional rivals Orlando Pirates. BA are just a point away from securing the 2011/12 Namibia Premier League and are determined to do so against Pirates.
They have been in great form this season, wiping all opposition in front of them and are currently on a record unbeaten run.
They have won 14 matches and drawn three of their 17 matches to date and will be going all out to maintain their unbeaten run throughout the season.
