Namibia drop one place on FIFA Rankings

The Brave Warriors are now ranked 122 in the world and 32 in Africa.
In the period under review they played two goalless draws against Angola and Zambia and received just 100 points for their match against Angola.
Namibia U17 ready for SA
Submitted by newsdesk on Wed, 01/18/2012 - 09:39.The Namibian U17 women’s football team is hard at work preparing for the first leg of their 2012 FIFA U17 World Cup Qualifier against South Africa that will be played at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on Saturday.
The caretaker coach of the team, Bertus Bock said he was happy with the team’s performance in training.
“The training is going very well and the girls are giving it a 100 percent and are very fit,” Bock said.
“In the remaining days we will focus more on the tactics,” he added.
The team has been hard at work in a training camp since the end of December.
