The Namibia Football Association on Sunday issued a statement expressing its disappointment with some members of the football family in the Karas Region who disrupted the Annual General Meeting that was held at Birds Mansion Hotel in Keetmanshoop on Saturday.

The meeting was also an elective meeting whereby the 21 members of the region had to vote in a new chairperson (President) of the executive committee, as the incumbent Harry Jahrs was acting since the resignation of Isaacs Fredericks in November.

Windhoek Gymnasium A and Pro-Ed Akademie won the Under 13 and Under 11 categories at the Coastal Spur Cricket Festival that was held in Walvis Bay from August 23 to 27.

It was the 12th consecutive year that the junior cricket festival had been held and it once again saw a good turnout with young cricketers from Walvis Bay, Swakopmund, Windhoek and Otjiwarongo participating.
