Three new basketball committees

The Namibian Basketball Federation (NBF) continued in its efforts to restructure basketball administration in Namibia by electing three new regional committees in the Omaheke, Ohangwena and Kunene regions over the weekend.

NBF President Ndeulipula Hamutumwa facilitated the Ohangwena and Kunene election while NBF Secretary General Carlos Manuel facilitated in Omaheke.

The Kunene Basketball Association consists of L. Shikulo (President), K. Nangolo (Vice President), J. Tjiho (Secretary General), M. Kasale (Treasurer), M. Tjiho (Development Officer)

Bredenhann wins Namibian Open

Bonita Bredenhann

Bonita Bredenhann won the Namibia Open Golf Ladies Championship which was held at the Windhoek Golf and Country Club on May 29 and 30.

18 year old Bredenhann, has already played in various tournaments in South Africa in 2010, where she has won the Eastern Province Open and the Western Province Open. She came second in the Sanlam South African Open, Junior South Africa Open, Junior Rose Ball Championships, Free State Open and Gauteng Open. She also came third in the Sanlam South African Open Match Play.
