There was drama on and off the field of play as the MTC Premiership reached the halfway mark with African Stars, Orlando Pirates and Black Africa emerging from the pack in the title race. Stars opened up a two-point gap over their Katutura rivals, while Pirates’ owner Hendrik Dawids announced that he would withdraw and give the club back to the community and Ali Akan resigned as Black Africa coach.
