Ali Akan got off to a winning start as Ramblers coach as they comfortably beat Hotspurs 2-0 at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on Friday night. Goals by Eusebio Fredericks and Junior Gebhardt within the first 20 minutes sealed their victory, although they could well have doubled the score.

Fredericks, back with Ramblers after a spell in South Africa, had a fine match and opened the scoring after only 5m when he broke free on the right and volleyed the ball high into the net.
