The Namibia Premier League plans to embark on a drive towards professionalism that will 'change the landscape of football in Namibia', following a visit to South Africa. An NPL delegation consisting of chairman JJ Doeseb, Mabos Vries, Cooks Kunamwene and Tim Isaacs visited the Premier Soccer League as well as television broadcaster SuperSport where they held discussions with some of the movers and shakers in South African football.

Björn Bierbrauer is still the measure of all things in Namibian MX-sport. Once again he concluded the race day with a maximum number of points and earned himself the “Hennie Visser Trophy.” Serious competitors are nonetheless in tow, especially Tommy Gous, Animal Wise and Alexander Howard, but the “miracle” however will in all probability not happen this season.
