The Brave Warriors’ problems mounted on Wednesday with the news that their four expectant foreign-based players will not be available for Saturday’s friendly against the DR Congo anymore. National coach Tom Saintfiet said that they had made contact with their clubs, which were reluctant to release them and it did not seem likely that they would arrive in time for the match.
Brave Warriors coach Tm Saintfiet was highly upset on Wednesday as four of his foreign-based players had not been released by their clubs ahead of Saturday’s friendly against the DR Congo in Windhoek. Oliver Risser, who plays for Norwegian second division club Manglerud Star and his brother Wilko Risser, who plays for Eintracht Trier in the German fourth division had not been released by their clubs by Wednesday.
