Hardcore-mx is a common term for offroad experience beyond enduro-tracks or a visit to the next ice-cream parlour on your moped. Hardcore-mx in perfection can be experienced during the “Full Throttle AMU Motocross Championship of African Nations” on 27th and 28th of June at the popular Gallina Motocross Park, just outside of Windhoek, situated on the right hand side of the road towards Okahandja.
This is the motorport spectacle of the year that will separate the “real manne” from the boys, a race in which only the toughest will win the chequered flag.
Beauties extend lead in record style
Submitted by editor on Tue, 06/02/2009 - 08:32.It rained goals in the Khomas Women’s Football League over the past weekend as Okahandja Beauties extended their lead in awesome fashion. On Sunday, Beauties thrashed bottom-of-the-log Angels United 40-0 to set a new record for the highest winning margin yet in the league.
The gulf in class between the two teams was evident from the start as the log leaders ran the Angels ragged and broke through their defence at will. Angels had no answer to the powerful Beauties combination and by half time were already trailing 23-0.
