SKW beat Black Africa

Cymot SKW's new coaching duo of Rolf Beiter and Lucky Kakuva got off to a winning start when they beat Black Africa 1-0 at the Khomasdal Stadium on Wednesday night. Striker Arend von Stryk scored the winner with a great header from a cross by Edwin Korukuve on 36 minutes which went over BA keeper Bongile Grootboom ‘s head, and just dipped under the crossbar.
BA had several chances to score themselves, but SKW defended superbly, with Ralph Ellinger and Sheldon du Plessis both clearing shots off the line.

Starke resigns due to health

Cymot SKW head coach Richard Starke has temporarily resigned due to health reasons.
In an email circulated to the media he said he wanted to put an end to rumours regarding his sudden resignation and that he had taken the step due to health reasons.

“I have temporarily resigned as coach as I am unable to fit in my coaching duties with my work schedule, so much so, that this has affected my health."

Resurgent BA take on SKW

Black Africa host log leaders Cymot SKW at the Khomasdal Stadium on Wednesday night hoping to continue their winning form under new coach Tollie van Wyk.
Van Wyk took over from Ronnie Kanalaelo who departed for Maritzburg United in December and got off to a winning start with a 2-0 win against Hotspurs on January 16.
