Namibian amateur boxers beat Angolans

Namibian amateur boxers outsmarted their Angolan opponents at an international boxing tournament held on March 24, 2007 at Iipimbu Secondary School in Oshakati.
The Namibian team won seven gold medals while the Angolan team won four gold medals, in front of a lively crowd estimated at 350 supporters.

Bamfuchile positive despite defeat

Brave Warriors coach Ben Bamfuchile said the Namibian team was on the right path, despite their 2-1 defeat to Libya on Sunday and that qualification for the 2008 African Cup of Nations finals, was not impossible.

Pirates 4 Tigers 2

Orlando Piratesâ?? revival continued as they scored an emphatic 4-2 victory against Tigers at Windhoekâ??s Independence Stadium on Wednesday night.
The teams were still level at 1-all at halftime, but a great second half hattrick by Patrick Jagger put Pirates well in control.
