Unam go top of the log

Unam beat Wanderers 8-2 in a menâ??s Premier League Indoor Hockey match in Windhoek on Saturday.
After their shock 7-5 defeat to Windhoek Old Boys on March 10, Unam were back to winning ways and immediately took the lead with a first minute goal by Siabonga Martins.

Oshakati City go second

Oshakati City moved into second position on the MTC Namibia Premier League log after their upset 1-0 victory against African Stars on Sunday.
Raphael Nuumbembe scored the only goal of the match in the 37th minute and although Stars launched a strong comeback in the second half, Oshakati managed to hold on for a great victory.

Bees grab last-gasp draw

Golden Bees grabbed a last minute equaliser against Cymot SKW in their Premier league encounter at the SKW Stadium on Sunday.
SKW had to field a depleted side due to many injuries, which saw old boys Roger Henkert and coach Lucky Kakuva back in the team. Henkert â?? a defender â?? in fact started the game at centre forward.

Oshakati shock Stars

Oshakati City pulled off another upset when they beat African Stars 1-0 in a Premier League match at the SKW Stadium on Sunday.
Oshakati took the lead towards the end of the first half when a fine throughball by Cascas Angula put Raphael Nuumbembe clear, who beat Max Mbaeva from close range.

Libya beat Namibia

Libya beat Namibia 2-1 in an African Cup of Nations qualifier in Group 10 on Sunday evening.
Salem El Rawany gave the hosts the perfect start when he scored after 12 minutes, and Tarek El Taib grabbed the second shortly after the hour mark.
