Namibiaâ??s cricket team made a great start to their three-day SAA Championship match against Griqualand West at the Wanderers field in Windhoek on Thursday, November 8, after restricting the visitors to 119 for eight wickets at lunch.
Reinhold Iita and Helaria Johannes were officially announced as the 2007 Old Mutual Victory Races champions on November 7 at a breakfast function hosted by Old Mutual on November 7.
Both athletes have dominated the event over the past few years, with Iita winning the senior menâ??s category for the second year in a row and for the fourth time over the past five years, while Johannes won the title for the third year in a row.
Tigers secured their first victory of the season after beating African Stars 3-2 at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on Wednesday night.
