2010 preliminary draw live on SuperSport

SuperSport will broadcast live Sundayâ??s preliminary draw for the 2010 Fifa World Cup from the International Conference Centre in Durban.

The draw, which will be attended by more than 300 members of the international media, will feature teams competing in the European, Asian, North American, Central American, Caribbean and African zones. Not included will be Oceania and South America, whose qualifying matches have already started. The live broadcast will start at 4pm on SuperSport 3, with the draw-taking place at 5pm.

Excelsior gymnasts excel

What a year it has been for Excelsior Gymnastics club! As the heading states our gymnasts excelled this year and the club has once again proved to be one of the leading and most successful artistic gymnastics club in Namibia. Excelsior has reached new heights by having two gymnasts from the girls section participating at the 2007 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Stuttgart - a first ever for the club.

Gladiators to face Botswana named

The final 20 players of the national womenâ??s football team, the Brave Gladiators, have been named for an African Cup qualifying match against Botswana in Gaborone on November 30.

The team, which is under the tutelage of Jacqui Shipanga has been drawn from various parts of the country and will depart to Gaborone by road on Monday, November 26. Amongst those named in the squad are Okahandja Beautiesâ?? prolific goalscorer Stella Williams, who is expected to play a vital role up front. Experienced national team players like Stephany Hummel, Leandre Lucas and goalkeeper Bonitha Eichas have also been included in the side to face Botswana.

Ramblers, Pirates draw thrilling match

Ramblers and Pirates drew 2-all in a dramatic Namibia Premier League match at Windhoekâ??s Independence Stadium on Wednesday, November 21.

Ramblers seemed to be heading for a comfortable victory after two early goals, but Pirates immediately struck back with two goals before halftime.
