Namibia drawn in tough group

Namibia has been drawn in a tough group for the Cosafa Under 17 soccer tournament which Namibia will host from December 8 รข?? 15.

Namibia was drawn in Group C along with Zimbabwe, Angola and Swaziland when the official draw for the tournament was made at the NFA Soccer House on Wednesday, November 21.

McDonald wins Friedenau Mile

The second Open Water Swimming Event/Namibia Mile organized by the Namibia Swimming Union took place last Sunday, November 18 at the Friedenau Dam near Windhoek.

This was the conclusion of a very successful clinic on the subject presented by the coordinator of Open Water Swimming of Swim South Africa, Neville Smith.

Pirates and Ramblers clash

Undefeated Ramblers will be hoping to add to Orlando Pirates woes tonight when the two sides lock horns in a crucial league encounter at the Independence Stadium. A win for the Pioneers Park-based side will temporarily place them on top of the summit at least until Friday evening when log leaders Black Africa and Civics take on SKW and Tigers respectively.

Total Tara Rally

The popular Tara Rally held annually in Namibia, will once again be sponsored by TOTAL and will count towards the Namibian Rally Championship.

The rally will be held from Thursday, November 22 to Saturday, November 24 in and around Windhoek and Rehoboth area, covering a total distance of 658km, consisting of 26 special stages of 281 km.
