DTS beat Ramblers

DTS completed a disappointing season with a 4-2 win against Ramblers on March 18, 2006.
DTS were the only team to beat champions Unam, but that was one of only two victories all season long.
Against Ramblers, DTS went ahead early on when Darren Martin deflected a Sedric Makati centre into the net.

Wanderers finish on a high

Wanderers ended their season on a high by beating Windhoek Old Boys 5-4 on March 18, 2006.
In only their second season in the menâ??s Premier League Wanderers showed tremendous improvement to eventually finish second behind champions Unam. Against WOB their never-say-die spirit was once again evident as they fought till the end to secure the victory.

Swimmers shine in Melbourne

Namibiaâ??s three swimmers all put in admirable performances on the third day of competition at the Commmonwealth Games on March 18.
Alex Ray put in a great performance to come fourth in Heat 3 of the menâ??s 100m freestyle in a time of 54,02 seconds. The heat was won by Liam du Feu of Jersey in 54,02.
