Thobela to fight Makambi in Namibia

South Africa?s former World Boxing Council (WBC) super middleweight champion, Dingaan Thobela, is likely to challenge countryman, Mpush Makambi for his WBA Pan African super middleweight title in Namibia at the end of October.

The Hitman remains unbeaten

Namibia?s WBA Pan African lightweight champion Paulus ?The Hitman? Moses maintained his unbeaten professional record after beating South Africa?s Peter Adams with a third round technical knockout on October 1.

Egypt beat Namibia 7-2

Namibia?s men?s team lost their opening match 7-2 against Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations Hockey Championships in Pretoria on October 2.
Namibia did well to restrict Egypt to a 2-1 lead at halftime, but after the break the north Africans stepped up the tempo to run out comfortable winners.
