Cosafa Cup focus - Mauritius

Mauritius

In our focus on the 2013 Cosafa Cup, which is due to take place in Zambia from July 6 to 20, we take a look at the team of Mauritius.

Mauritius joined COSAFA in 1999 and have been regular competitors in its tournaments since.

‘Club M’ are building a new-look side as they seek to become more competitive in future events, seeking to recapture past glories including qualifying in 1974 for the African Nations Cup finals.

Akbar Patel has been their national coach for the past year now, his second spell in charge.
