McMillan disappointed by U19‘s performances
Submitted by editor on Wed, 08/22/2012 - 18:49.The CEO of Cricket Namibia Graham McMillan has expressed disappointment with Namibia’s performances at the Under 19 Cricket World up, after they lost their opening five matches at the tournament.
Namibia suffered big defeats against cricketing test nations Sri Lanka, South Africa and Bangladesh, and then lost to Ireland and Nepal in positional play-off matches. Namibia will now play their final match against Zimbabwe on Thursday in the 15th position playoff match.
Macmillan said they expected the Test nations to be strong, although the defeat against Nepal was disappointing.
David Philander - chasing his dream

“I have always dreamed of playing rugby in New Zealand,” said the 25-year-old, 1.71-metre, 87-kilogram back, who arrived in Gisborne on Monday.
“I’m a big fan of the All Blacks and the way New Zealanders play their rugby. Coming here is a chance for me to fulfil my dream and improve my rugby.”
