Bolt wins Olympic 100m title

On another magical evening at the Olympic Stadium, Usain Bolt won the men’s 100m in a new Olympic record off 9,63 seconds.
There had been doubts whether he could deliver after being beaten by Yohan Blake at the Jamaican Championships, while he only had the third fastest semifinal time, behind Blake and Justin Gatlin of the United States.
But in the final Bolt got a good start and by the halfway mark he had powered to the front.
