Top junior golfers leave for British Open
Submitted by editor on Fri, 07/13/2012 - 14:42.Two of Namibia’s top young golfers Jessica Dreesbeimdieke and Likius Nande leave for England on Friday to participate in the British Open Junior Golf Tournament.
The two golfers, who are both 15 years old, have been sponsored by Nedbank Namibia, as part of their overall sponsorship of junior golf in Namibia for the past few years.
It is also the second time that Nedbank Namibia’s sponsorship has made it possible for Namibian golfers to compete at the British Junior Open, with the first sponsorship coming two years ago when Stephanus Bonifatius represented Namibia.
National MB Champs on Sunday

The Namibian Mountain Bike season comes to an end on Sunday when the National MB Cross Country Championships will be held on Farm Kleine Kuppe in the hills above Windhoek Gymnasium School.
More than 70 of the country’s top riders are expected to be in action from 09h00 when the first junior categories start, through to about 12h00 when the Elite Men’s category is expected to start.
