Relegation battle heats up

The battle to avoid relegation intensified on Saturday as two of the bottom three teams picked up points. United Stars drew against Civics and Eleven Arrows beat Tigers to relegate Hotspurs, who lost 3-2 to Mighty Gunners, to the bottom spot on the log.
At the Kuisebmond Stadium in Walvis Bay, Arrows moved three points clear from the drop zone with a 2-0 victory against Tigers.
Goals by Immanuel Angolo and Abraham Paulus gave them the three points that puts them on 17 points in 10th position on the log.
