Nigeria name strong squad

Nigeria has named a powerful squad including 15 foreign-based professionals for its World Cup qualifying match against Namibia in Calabar on Sunday, June 3.
Their 21-year-old winger Victor Moses who plays for Wigan Athletics in the English Premiership, was the first foreign-based player to join the Super Eagles’ training camp, and traveled with the rest of the home-based team to Calabar on Sunday.
Their other foreign based players are due to arrive this week from places as diverse as France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Turkey, Israel, Norway, Russia and South Africa.
