Hotspurs relegated after Black Africa defeat
Submitted by editor on Fri, 05/11/2012 - 21:58.Hotspurs were effectively relegated from the Premier league after losing 2-1 to Black Africa on Friday night.
Richard Kavendji gave Hotspurs the lead on 29m but Jerome Louis equalised shortly before halftime. Bradley Wermann scored the winner for BA on 58m with a great freekick that sealed Hotspurs’ fate.
Although Hotspurs still have a mathematical chance of remaining up its virtually impossible since other results will have to go their way while they will have to win their final match by at least 14 goals.
Rugby League continues
Submitted by editor on Fri, 05/11/2012 - 13:19.The Namibia Premier Rugby League continues on Saturday with all the matches taking place outside the capital Windhoek.
Log leaders Rehoboth are at home to fifth-placed Wanderers in a match that can go either way.
Rehoboth lost their opening match to neighbours Reho Falcon but since then beat Dolphins and Unam to go to the top.
Dolphins and Unam are however struggling at the bottom of the log and Wanderers are sure to provide a much tougher test.
